At Midnight (OctPoWriMo Entry #21)

The silence wakes things forgotten,
dreams shiver life;
turn the tv on.

Poet's Note:  The day's prompt = 17 syllables or less.  We were supposed to aim for an American Sentence Poem...not sure mine quite qualifies.  I did shove in the semi-colon cheat.  But, hey, poetry's about breaking rules, right?

  2. I also did the prompt halfway. I wrote seventeen syllables but broke it into lines. I just like how it feels better than on one line. I love the first line of your poem.
