Poem: A Piece of Advice

Angle
your eyes
against the sun,
diagonal glances
from which to glean
arched brow, curling
tongue, the subtle
lick and burn
of indifference.

He does not see
the blush, the flush
red rash reaction,
attraction, the
shame.
