OctPoWriMo #5: Autumn



I have loved Autumn,
the blushing turn of trees,
the rustled flush anticipating
the crinkled crush
of leaves
and bared bark.

And, in that hesitation,
reservation, the heady buzz
of what might be.


Poet's Note:  Really late with this one.  Couldn't squeeze it in yesterday.  Time to play catch-up.  Nice way to do so though...contemplations of Autumn?
